How to Include Heritage Christian Services Foundation in Your Estate Plan

To add a charitable bequest to your will, simply call your attorney. Such a change does not usually require the drafting of a new will, but merely having the attorney add a “codicil” to the existing will.

Here are some suggested methods to include Heritage Christian Services Foundation in your estate plan (typically in your will, but could also be added as a beneficiary of an insurance policy or retirement account).

Percentage:

“I give, devise and bequeath _______% of my estate to Heritage Christian Services Foundation, Inc., 349 W. Commercial St., East Rochester, New York, for its corporate uses and purposes.”

OR

Dollar Amount:

“I give, devise and bequeath $______ to Heritage Christian Services Foundation, Inc., 349 W. Commercial St., East Rochester, New York, for its corporate uses and purposes.”

You may also elect to have a Heritage Christian Services Pooled Trust set up for your loved one who receives our services. Below is a suggested method to set this up:

I give, bequeath and devise (the sum of, or the following property, or percentage of my/our estate: ________________________________________ to the Heritage Christian Services Foundation, Inc., as trustee of the Heritage Christian Services, Inc., Pooled Trust to be held and administered according to the terms of such trust for the benefit of ____________________ during his/her lifetime. Upon ________________ ‘s death the remainder shall pass to the Heritage Christian Services Foundation, Inc.
